Acupuncture Helps Cancer Patients
Clinical studies, articles, government reports, all are indicating that acupuncture helps cancer patients avoid the nausea, vomiting, and pain associated with chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Other data suggests acupuncture might be effective in post-chemotherapy fatigue, insomnia, and anxiety. Yet patients aren't being offered this valuable tool in their fight against a debilitating illness.
The studies are there to prove this technique works. Why isn't it being used more often?
You can go to the "Seminars in Nursing" website and read more about acupuncture and cancer. Visit the National Institute of Health website for current and completed clinical trials on holistic medical therapies. Also the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine website has good information on holistic therapies.
Keep yourself informed on new updated testing. The medical profession runs some of these clinical trials to disprove these alternative methods. They wind up having to admit they do indeed work.
Keeping you informed,
Liz
